Well, hi, there, Adrian, I'm glad to see we're going to have a class together, and I should have known. Awesome!
I'm Sarah, a grad student in SLIS (that's library school, for those who don't know). I'm roughly 800 years old and have been playing video games since Pong and the original Atari.
I'm interested in the culture(s) of video games, thins like the replication of economic structures within them, etc.

Hello everyone. Sorry it took me a while to get geared up here. I'm not exactly the most technologically savvy person and so naturally I had to find my way across the digital divide (well, nopt literally, seeing as how I did so several years ago).
I am a senior Journalism and Mass Comm. major (Strat. Comm.). I am a young sprout at 22 years of age who left video games behind (for the most part) after Super Nintendo. Yes, I was a Super Nintendo guy (not a Sega man.
I am interested in the culture and history of video games because it stands as a glaring missing piece of my understanding of all of the facets of mass communication and because I am still trying to figure out what stopped me from continuing my video game adventures those many years ago.
I look forward to class with all of you and feel fortunate to have the opportunity to partake in such an avant-garde class!
